We are seeking an accomplished Cloud Support Engineer to collaborate with our team and provide exceptional technical assistance to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate complex customer issues by researching and escalating problems
  • Work diligently to resolve intricate customer concerns related to Canonical's portfolio of products
  • Take ownership of support cases, ensuring timely resolution according to our Service Level Agreement (SLA) while prioritizing high-quality customer satisfaction through clear communication and commitment fulfillment
  • Engage directly with customers via phone, ticketing systems, and remote sessions to address their needs efficiently
  • Participate in a regular weekend working rotation
  • Contribute new knowledge base articles and maintain existing ones to facilitate shared understanding and lessons learned for customers
Requirements:
  • Proficient written and spoken English skills with excellent presentation abilities
  • Outstanding academic records from both high school and university
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical field or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path
  • A proven track record of exceeding expectations to achieve remarkable results
  • Hands-on experience supporting Linux systems, including 3 or more of: Virtualization / Cloud - primarily using KVM or OpenStack, Containers - especially with Docker, LXD/LXC, or Kubernetes, Storage technologies - block, object, and network, Networking (bonding, firewalling, bridging, switching, network file system tuning, MTU issues, etc.)
