About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Climate Science and Resilience Strategist to join our team in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact on the planet and be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation dedicated to combating the pressing challenges of climate change.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the strategy to grow the Climate Science and Resilience Team in Australia, reporting to the local Environment Team Lead.
- Link the team up with our global teams and their own climate resilience offerings, and market our combined offerings to government, industry, and private sector partners.
- Demonstrate excellence in knowledge and experience of one or more climate scenario analysis techniques, climate exposure assessment, and general climate science, including climate projections in Australia and relevant data sources from the IPCC, and the development of adaptation plans and strategies.
- Support clients with their ambitions to improve climate resilience and address emerging mandatory climate and nature-related disclosure reporting requirements.
- Oversight and execution of our growing portfolio of climate work, managing teams completing vulnerability assessments, climate adaptation alternatives, predictive modelling, resilience planning, ecologically focused restoration projects, and design and implementation of grey and green infrastructure solutions.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of consulting experience conducting resilience and climate adaptation services.
- Demonstrated client management and project management experience with strong Australian experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with colleagues and clients.
- Bandwidth to engage with multiple stakeholders to assess and perform vulnerability assessments and resilience planning actions.
- Ability to manage projects to scope/schedule/budget and see through to completion.

- An estimated annual salary of $120,000 - $180,000 AUD, depending on experience.
