Job Title: Team Leader Rail

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team in vegetation removal and drain maintenance projects along the rail corridor from Wollongong to Nowra.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team to complete tasks safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
  • Coordinate duties for the crew to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Operate excavators and drive trucks as required.
  • Maintain equipment and tools to support works.
  • Liaise with rail authorities to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Conduct regular safety briefings and compliance checks.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in grounds maintenance or labouring within a small team of 3-4 people.
  • Ability to travel across the South Coast corridor.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and HR license with a clean driving record.
  • Possess a RIW ticket (essential).
  • Commitment to a drug-free workplace.
  • Hold a White Card.
  • Desirable skills include excavator operation and customer service/communication skills.
