Job Title: Assistant Manager, Investigations
Role Overview:
As Assistant Manager, Investigations, you will play a pivotal role within the Professional Conduct Branch. The Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) is dedicated to ensuring quality teaching and child safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and leading investigative functions.
- Support the Investigations Manager in leading a team of investigators.
- Oversee complex investigations concerning non-compliance with legislative requirements and professional codes.
- Contribute to strategic projects enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Branch.
- Handle sensitive matters, including allegations of child sexual abuse.
Requirements for Success:
- Comprehensive understanding of contemporary regulatory practices.
- Proven experience in delivering investigative functions in complex environments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to establish a strong workplace culture.
- Adherence to VIT values and Victorian public sector standards.
