Job Overview

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Advisor to play a key role in ensuring the quality of our suppliers and sub-contractors.

This permanent, full-time position is located in Henderson, Western Australia and will drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Audits and Inspections: Conduct thorough audits and inspections to assess compliance with ASC requirements and identify non-conformances.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Manage and follow up on supplier non-conformance issues, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are completed.
  • Seller Qualification and Re-Qualification: Perform supplier qualification and re-qualification reviews, including evaluation of management systems and KPI performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Policies and Compliance: Provide guidance on Corporate Management System (CMS) policies and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and KPIs, and support improvement programs.
  • Audit Reporting: Report significant quality issues and audit findings to the Assurance Manager and relevant stakeholders.
  • Audit Support: Support internal and external audit programs, including participation in 2nd and 3rd party audits.
  • Quality Assurance Records: Maintain accurate and complete quality assurance records and documentation.
About You
  • Lead Auditor Qualification: Mandatory requirement
  • Tertiary Qualification or Experience: Engineering/technical tertiary qualification or 3+ years of relevant SQA experience
  • Quality Expertise: Strong understanding of quality inspections, standards, and compliance
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Business Systems Auditing: Experience auditing business and supplier management systems
  • Office Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • ISO Standards Knowledge: Knowledge of ISO standards
  • Root Cause Analysis Tools: Experience with root cause analysis tools (FMEA, ICAM)
  • Teamwork and Communication: Effective team player with strong communication and customer service skills
  • Adaptability and Improvement: Proactive, adaptable, and improvement-focused mindset
