We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex projects. This requires exceptional planning, execution, and control skills, as well as the ability to manage financials, resources, and project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have ownership of engineering outcomes and project delivery, with expertise in problem-solving and technical advising.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a project team of multi-skilled employees, maintaining safety plans, and ensuring adherence to high standards of health and safety management.
  • Managing the overall responsibility for the delivery of complex projects to required quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Deploying standard methodologies and ensuring the use of Honeywell project processes and tools.
  • Developing trust and managing relationships with customers, ensuring shared understanding of key issues.
  • Effective communication with all project stakeholders, defining subcontract and supply requirements, and controlling billing and costs.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or information technology.
  • Tertiary qualifications in project management and further education in management or project management would be advantageous.
  • Proven experience in project management, including budget ownership, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting, and planning, preferably on projects over $10M.
  • Demonstrated experience in safety and safety management on large commercial and infrastructure projects.
  • Commitment to developing junior or less-experienced staff and proven ability to develop and lead a team.
  • Capacity to deliver against multiple and competing objectives, demonstrable customer relation skills, and commercial/contractual acumen.
