Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Development Specialist to drive our projects forward with precision and enthusiasm. As a key member of our projects team, you will play a critical role in planning, executing, and completing projects within scope and quality objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Financial Management: Manage project financial performance, including preparing progress claims and managing cost tracking to meet business objectives.
  • Contracts Management: Oversee contracts, ensuring timely procurement and execution to meet project timelines.
  • Project Planning: Establish and monitor project programs, identify risks and opportunities, and align procurement with project milestones to deliver high-quality results.
  • HSEQ Management: Ensure all projects adhere to strict safety standards and protocols to protect people and the environment.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership to the project team, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and successful delivery of project milestones.
  • Design Management: Manage all design inputs and distribute required information to the project team to facilitate informed decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant industry qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar.
  • Sound experience within the construction industry, preferably in the commercial fit-out and refurbishment sector.
  • Working experience in MS Project, Excel, and Word, with experience in PowerPoint, Timberline, and Procore desirable.
  • Solid knowledge of project management techniques, including sub-contractor tender evaluations, value management, and quality assurance.
  • Proven track record of identifying customer needs and providing quality customer service.
