Green Energy Legal Expert Job

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced legal professional who has worked in the renewable energy sector. As a Green Energy Legal Expert, you will play a key part in helping our company to develop and deliver large-scale solar and energy storage projects.

Your main responsibilities will be to provide high-quality legal support to our project development team. This includes drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting risk assessments, and advising on commercial agreements such as EPC Agreements, land options, leases, connection agreements, PPAs, and tender documents.

You will also work closely with our business development teams to ensure that all legal aspects of our projects are properly managed. This will involve researching local laws and regulations, studying relevant case law, and providing expert advice on how to mitigate risks and achieve our goals.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong legal experience in the renewable energy sector or similar industry
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Careful and meticulous approach to work, with ability to manage high-pressure situations
  • Prior experience in project development (land, permitting)
