About the Role

We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our engineering practice. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and enhancing applications and APIs.

Your Responsibilities
  • Analyse requirements and translate them into robust technical designs
  • Build and maintain Java/Spring Boot applications and REST APIs
  • Champion quality, standardisation, and best practices across development and delivery
  • Write and execute unit, integration, and system tests to maintain high quality
  • Collaborate with engineers, testers, and stakeholders to deliver value-driven outcomes
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of software development experience with deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot
  • Strong understanding of REST API development
  • React experience is a plus but not required
  • Familiarity with any of the following tools and frameworks is an advantage:
    • Frameworks: Java, Kotlin, Spring
    • Cloud: AWS, Azure
    • Containers & orchestration: Kubernetes, OpenShift
    • CI/CD: Jenkins, Helm
    • Testing: WireMock, Stubby, REST Assured, Pact JV, Jest, Enzyme
    • DevOps practices and tooling
