Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Appian BPM Developer to join our team. As an Appian BPM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying large-scale Java-centric enterprise application systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop process maps, process models, and related components in Appian BPM.
  • Develop and implement business process management solutions using Appian BPM.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions.
  • Ensure effective design, development, validation, and support activities in line with client needs and architectural requirements.
  • Continually update knowledge and skills to stay current with industry trends and technologies.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in IT or Computer Science.
  • Primary skills: Business Process Management - Appian; L1/L2 and/or L3 Certification.
  • At least three years of experience in analysis, design, development, and application deployment of large-scale Java-centric enterprise application systems.
  • In-depth hands-on application development experience in Appian BPM.
  • Excellent customer interfacing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in design and development in Appian with good exposure in latest versions.
  • Hands-on experience creating process maps, design and development of process and related components in Appian BPM.
  • Very good experience in Appian Process Models, SAIL Interfaces, Expression Rules, Functions, Records, Sites, Process Model as a Service, Admin Console, Document Management, and Integration Smart Services.
  • Design and build of low-code applications.
  • Experience in handling requirements, demos, and technical solutions.
  • Exposure to integration with custom UI.
  • Exposure to setting up and managing the environment on cloud.
  • Exposure to working in multiple parallel projects, delivery governance.
  • Ability to define (add/modify) new architectures and anchor review of artifacts.
  • Development of Java Spring Boot API Services.
  • Experience in JSON, XML, XML parsers, and XSL.
  • Experience working with Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server databases.
  • Configuration of Web Server Application like Weblogic/Websphere.
  • Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth, and increase their business profitability.
  • Good knowledge on software configuration management systems.
  • Awareness of latest technologies and industry trends.
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with an ability to collaborate.
  • Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available.
  • Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas, and suggest technology solutions.
  • One or two industry domain knowledge.
  • Technical project and team management.
