Position Overview:

Cognizant is on the lookout for a Senior Appian Business Analyst to collaborate with a prominent banking client. In this role, you will evaluate business needs and convert them into functional specifications for development teams. Additionally, you will create and implement business scorecards to monitor and assess key performance indicators, offering insights and recommendations aimed at enhancing business processes and services. Essential Skills:

To be considered for this Business Analyst position, candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Practical experience with the Appian BPM platform; Appian certification is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of designing and configuring Appian applications.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience with Agile development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

In the initial weeks of this Business Analyst role, you can anticipate:

  • Facilitating and supporting workshops and meetings to gather and comprehend business requirements.
  • Conducting process mapping for both current and future states.
  • Ensuring comprehensive requirements traceability.
  • Acting as a liaison among various stakeholder groups to ensure clarity and alignment of requirements.
  • Collaborating closely with technology teams to design, develop, and implement data programs.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position exceeds $100,000.
