About the Role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Buildings and Places team in Sydney CBD. As an Electrical Engineer - Design Expert, you will be responsible for delivering a range of exciting electrical engineering projects across various industries and market sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare technical design documentation for building services projects, utilizing your experience and expertise in electrical services design.
  • Contribute to the broader team by providing specialized advice on projects, utilizing your experience in Australian Standards and exposure to State and Federal Government Projects.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide high-level technical advice on community-defining projects.
  • Design experience on Australian defence infrastructure and facilities.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain Australian Government security clearance or existing clearance.
  • Experience working in electrical services design, including lighting, general and specialist power, earthing/lightning protection, and power distribution and reticulation.
  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree with experience working in the building services sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrating leadership qualities and aspirations to grow with AECOM.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, PowerCAD, Revit, MS Office, and AGI32.
  • CPEng or working towards CPEng - we will support you.
