Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team. As a Design Engineer, you will collaborate with other engineers and design teams to create complex designs that incorporate the latest design techniques, ensuring all specifications are met and projects are completed on time.


As a key member of our team, you will analyze sketches, notes and other input materials to determine and plan the best approach to prepare drawings. You will also apply design fundamentals to total systems or sub-systems and work under supervision with work effort occasionally checked during progress and reviewed upon completion.


Additionally, you will solve design problems but is expected to need assistance and may perform routine design calculations for the review of the project engineer/architect and prepares basic layouts. May have minimal external customer contact.



Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A high school diploma is required; an associate or bachelor degree in engineering or architectural fields is preferred.
  • Minimum three years related designer experience with former employer(s) is required.
  • Proficiency in the use of a computer for drafting and design applications is required.
