Learning Design Specialist

The role of a learning design specialist involves delivering high-quality instruction that fosters student engagement and supports educational transformation across various sectors.

  • Design and deliver engaging courses that promote student engagement and support educational transformation.
  • Develop high-quality materials and assessments that meet the needs of students and instructors.
  • Provide meaningful feedback to students that encourages them to improve their performance.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate academic units as Chief Examiner.
  • Supervise honours and postgraduate research projects.
  • Contribute to research initiatives within the discipline.

Requirements:

  • Experience in learning design across various contexts.
  • Strong understanding of professional design principles and practices.
  • Confidence in using educational technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
