Job Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Operator to join our team in a dynamic role that involves running the EBS machine and associated work stations.

    The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working safely, efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include setting up and operating equipment in accordance with work instructions & procedures, loading coiled wire onto machinery, crimping of detonators onto wire assembly, packing assembled product in to boxes in required formats, quality & inspections and recording, performing basic mathematical equations and basic report writing, ensuring all operations are performed to procedures and WHS and environmental requirements.


Requirements

  •     Essential Skills and Qualifications:
    •     Experience in assembly or manufacturing, especially with machinery is advantageous but not essential
    •     Great hand-eye coordination, ability to work quickly and strong focus on safety
    •     Reliable and respectful towards others, positive and motivated work ethic
    •     Attention to detail is a must with high level of accuracy
    •     Be willing to learn and be trained for success
    •     Mechanical aptitude is an advantage
    •     Must be able to display high level of dexterity
    •     Must be able to obtain Explosives Licence including high level Police Clearance
    •     Have reliable car and current drivers licence.
