As a critical member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional care is delivered to residents across the facility.

This position presents a fantastic opportunity for career progression within a supportive environment. We invite applications from both qualified Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers.

The Team Leader oversees the coordination of resident care, including medication management, nutrition, and pressure care management. This involves supporting the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive, person-centred care to all residents, encompassing social and emotional support.
  • Coordinate care needs across the facility, including medication administration, nutrition planning, and pressure area management.
  • Supervise and lead care on shifts, focusing on designated areas or wings.
  • Perform tasks related to medicine administration, in line with scope of qualification, state/territory legislation, regulation, and facility policies.

About You

  • Relevant qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (APRHA registration), Certificate IV in Ageing Support, or Certificate III in Individual Support with a willingness to undertake training.
  • A high level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
  • Effective listening and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to utilise information technology and adapt to new skills as required.
  • A current National police check and working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control principles.
  • A desire to join an organisation dedicated to caring for others.
