We are seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Project Coordinator to join our team in Homebush, Australia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company that values employee progression and development.

Job Summary

This is a hands-on role requiring excellent communication and administrative skills. As a Senior Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and resources, setting up frameworks, planning and executing projects, and scheduling projects across Australia with well-known clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the pre-planning and concept stage of projects
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity to ensure project completion on time and within budget
  • Manage projects, typically responsible for large-sized or complex projects and significant components of multiple projects
  • Prepare project cost reports, budgets, and forecasts each month
  • Enter jobs/collections into a Job Management system
  • Conduct periodic reviews to ensure the project is on track and conduct post-project reviews
  • Ensure the ongoing development and improvement of all project procedures
  • Provide subject matter expertise in regards to problem definition/solving and analytics
  • Coordinate third-party activities and track associated expenses
  • Regular and ad-hoc reporting and troubleshooting by customer/project

About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A strong attention to detail, confidentiality, integrity, and ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • System-oriented skills, great at Excel, managing schedules, and picking up our in-house job management system
  • Customer-centric and solution-focused skills
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A record of dealing with high-end specification projects and applying PM principles
  • Understanding of budgets and control of budgets
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • At least 3+ years of previous work experience
  • Strong Program Management Skills
  • Australian work experience essential
