The Role

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Specialist to provide expert support across projects delivered under the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) in South Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Support & Risk Management – Provide hands-on support across contract administration, entitlements, claims, and disputes, helping to manage commercial and contractual risk.
  • Contract Drafting & Compliance – Assist in reviewing and drafting contract terms, variations, extensions, and notices, ensuring accuracy and alignment with legal and business requirements.
  • Procurement & Subcontractor Engagement – Work closely with procurement and subcontract teams to establish agreements, manage downstream obligations, and report on emerging issues.
  • Contract Operations & Documentation – Maintain contract registers, portals, and correspondence, ensuring timely compliance with performance reporting, audits, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Financial & Performance Insight – Interpret financial and KPI models to support commercial decision-making and contribute to the development of operational contract documents during transitions.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial or contract administration roles, ideally in infrastructure or services sectors.
  • Strong understanding of contract administration principles and systems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify risks or opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills able to simplify complex contract terms into clear guidance.
  • Strong planning and time management skills, with an agile and collaborative approach.
