Emergency Response Specialist

We are a leading provider of telecare solutions, helping people maintain independence and safety at home. Our teams in Australia and New Zealand offer 24/7 support and assistance through medical devices and call centres.
This role involves being the first point of contact for clients with their medical alarms, answering calls, notifying emergency services when required, and following important protocols.
Responsibilities- Be the first point of contact for clients with their medical alarms
- Answer a variety of medical alarm activations, from emergency assistance calls to general testing and troubleshooting
- Notify emergency services when required and communicate critical details that could save a life
- A 'people person' with empathy and excellent listening skills
- Proven experience in customer service with exceptional communication skills
- Excellent resilience and adaptability
- Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
- First aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
The role requires availability for weekend and evening shifts, with penalty rates applying for unsociable hours. Rosters are provided a month in advance, with options to take on additional shifts for part-time staff. Hybrid remote working is available for fully trained staff.
