Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting children from our kindergarten centres to and from our incursion learning centre and school holiday vacation care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Sydney metro roads and be able to adapt quickly to new timetables and journeys independently.

  • Collect vehicles from our head office in Kogarah and transport children safely within the Sydney Metro area.
  • Maintain accurate head counts of passengers from pick-up and drop-off locations.
  • Manage timetables and travel time to meet the requirements of our RSK program.
  • Maintain clean and hygienic vehicles and provide a safe and pleasant journey for children.
  • Conduct daily safety checks of vehicles, perform general maintenance, and refill fuel as needed.
  • Communicate any identified hazards immediately.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current NSW Bus Driver Authority.
  • A Working with Children Check.
  • A HR licence with an excellent driving record.
  • Sound knowledge of Sydney metro roads.
  • Friendly nature and ability to relate to preschool-aged children.
  • High personal standards of hygiene and grooming.
  • A First Aid Certificate (desirable).
What We Offer:

We offer flexible hours, Monday to Friday, with a competitive hourly rate of $24.91-$30.00 per hour.

This is a part-time, casual position, working 20-30 hours per week.
