Pathology Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our pathology team as a specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a range of pre-analytical procedures from simple to complex consistently and accurately.
  • Maintain professional attitude, work with integrity, comply with expected ethical and behavioural standards, respect patient's confidentiality and know the importance of accurate patient information.
Requirements:
  • High level skills in the use of laboratory information systems (AUSLAB) and integrated electronic medical record systems (ieMR).
  • Demonstrated knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge of standard precautions and safety requirements in dealing with biological specimens.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including respectful behaviour, cooperation, and ability to communicate effectively and work productively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to solve problems and show initiative in the workplace.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively in a highly process driven environment with competing priorities.
