Job Overview

We seek a Quality Leader to ensure product quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement quality assurance and control activities to guarantee all products meet specifications.
  • Secure new or updated specifications as required, and incorporate changes into work instructions, procedures, and databases.
  • Provide clarity on product drawings or specifications to production staff when needed.
  • Analyze non-conforming products through investigation, follow-up actions, and resolution.
  • Ensure teams have the necessary skills to efficiently and safely operate in line with quality management system policies and procedures.
  • Matrix manage a function of quality based staff across the site and product lines.
Requirements
  • Experience in leadership and team management.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality system procedures and product specifications and drawings.
  • Understanding of the manufacturing process and ability to investigate and analyze quality problems.
  • Knowledge and experience with Australian and international quality standards, e.g., ISO-9001 and AS-1199.
  • Sound knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and IPESA configuration/document management.
  • Previous work in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
