The Opportunity
The Independence and Wellbeing Manager is recognised as a key member of Benalla Health's Clinical Services Leadership Team. The role supports the organisation's vision, mission and strategic goals, oversees service provision, and provides strong leadership. It also supports excellence in clinical practice and ongoing professional development of staff, ensuring standards of professional practice are high and consistent in outcome.
Under the direction of the Operational Director of Healthy Communities and in collaboration with senior leaders, the role has responsibility for the development, provision and advancement of Benalla Health's Healthy Community programs and services. This includes ensuring programs are sustainable, within budget, and aligned with best practice, health promotion and the social determinants of health, while maximising consumer self-determination in healthcare outcomes.
The Position is Permanent Full Time.

Responsibilities- Develop, provide and advance Benalla Health's Healthy Community programs and services.
- Ensure programs are sustainable and within budget; promote best practice and health promotion with attention to social determinants of health.
- Support consumer self-determination in healthcare outcomes and foster ongoing clinical leadership and professional development.
- Lead collaboration with the Operational Director of Healthy Communities and senior directorate leaders to align programs with organisational values and strategic goals.
- Experience in health services management and leadership.
- Ability to develop, implement and evaluate community health programs.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and collaborative leadership skills.
- Commitment to high standards of professional practice.
