Operations Centre Coordinator

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to manage day-to-day shift operations, dispatch crews, and ensure crew welfare and fatigue management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and dispatch NEPT crews for both road and aeromedical transport services
  • Monitor shift operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day service delivery across both modes
  • Support crew welfare and fatigue management in alignment with RFDS policies
  • Maintain effective operational communications with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with RFDS procedures, NEPT regulations, and clinical protocols
  • Provide accurate administrative support, including data entry, invoicing, and reporting
  • Collaborate with rostering and leadership teams to optimize staffing and scheduling

Requirements:

  • Organizational Skills – Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records and schedules
  • Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication, with professional interaction across teams and stakeholders
  • Attention to Detail – High accuracy in documentation, data entry, and correspondence
  • Technical Proficiency – Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and open to learning new systems and tools
  • Industry Knowledge – Understanding of NEPT operations and regulations; medical terminology knowledge is desirable
  • Team Coordination – Experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to meet operational goals
  • Aeromedical Experience – Prior experience in aeromedical or flight operations is desirable
  • Security Clearance – Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
  • Roster Flexibility – Willingness to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
