Research Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Research Manager to join our team and help expand our custom research capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with expertise in quantitative research, particularly within the sports and entertainment industry.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of research projects, including questionnaire design, fieldwork management, analysis, and reporting. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights that inform strategy, brand growth, and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of ongoing research and reporting projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement research designs, including questionnaires, surveys, and data analysis plans.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets, identifying key trends and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Presentation of research findings to internal and external stakeholders, using clear and compelling visualizations and narratives.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including project managers, marketing teams, and senior leadership.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in the research field, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in our research practices.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in quantitative research, preferably in the sports and entertainment industry.
  • Strong technical skills in research design, analysis, and reporting, including proficiency in Q, SPSS, and survey platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear and actionable insights.
  • A passion for sport and entertainment, with a collaborative and down-to-earth approach.
  • Adaptability and interest in embracing emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies that keep the research function innovative and competitive.
