Our client, a sports apparel brand based in Springvale, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable and Receivable Officer to join their team. This initial 3-month contract role offers the opportunity for extension and/or permanent placement.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and verifying invoices, processing payments accurately, managing vendor relationships, and resolving discrepancies. Additionally, they will record transactions, perform AP reconciliations, generate and issue invoices, monitor collections, and respond to customer inquiries.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 2-5 years' experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable functions with good understanding of accounting procedures.
  • A high level of attention to detail with proven quality and accuracy of work.
  • Strong reconciliation skills.
  • Proactive research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
  • An intermediate level of Word and Excel.
