Job Description:
We are seeking a self-motivated Owner Driver to join our Country QLD division located in Rockhampton. As an Owner Driver, you will be responsible for operating your own late-model truck to transport concrete products safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide your own well-maintained, well-presented vehicle with a minimum carrying capacity of 7m3 of concrete.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in regular safety training and adhere to our safety protocols.
- Contribute to the growth and success of our business through your expertise and dedication.
Requirements:
- Relevant industry licences and Accredited to NHVR mass management.
- Solid understanding of fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility.
- Experience in the concrete industry is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
