Software Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role:
Are you a passionate and experienced QA Lead with a track record for building high-performance teams and achieving extraordinary business outcomes? This leadership role involves people management of up to 3 QAs, reporting directly to the QA Practice Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead your team to undertake testing activities required to deliver high-quality technology solutions that meet business needs.
- Apply test modeling techniques and QA best practices to help delivery teams improve in building quality solutions.
- Drive a culture where teams own quality and work towards defect prevention on top of defect detection.
- Ensure teams think about best ways to measure quality of solutions and track it across time.
- Drive improvement of measurement and visualization of quality metrics.
- Direct line management of a group of QA Engineers of up to 8.
- Responsible for test planning and execution across applications, web, and API applications.
- Develop and maintain test cases and test data for functional, integration, performance, and security testing of APIs.
- Utilize and manage testing tools and frameworks such as Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, and others.
- Proven experience in an Agile working environment.
- Strong stakeholder skills and a natural ability to influence outcomes.
About You:
- Recent experience using Playwright is essential for this role.
- Extensive testing experience with hands-on test automation experience in web and API.
- Ability to lead and mentor others and is not afraid of conflict/resolution.
