Risk Assurance Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Risk Assurance Consultant to join our team at MLC Limited. As a key member of our Risk Assurance team, you will play a critical role in monitoring, challenging, and supporting our performance with respect to key strategic initiatives and enterprise risk management and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Perform systemic reviews and deep dives of the implementation of risk and compliance management frameworks and processes across the enterprise to ensure risk is managed within appetite.
- Support the team in reporting on those reviews to the Executive Leadership Team and Board.
- Conduct independent control testing and identify opportunities to simplify the controls environment.
- Promote a positive risk culture and support business stakeholders in complying with MLCL Risk Minimum Standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of MLCL Risk Minimum Standards, Processes, and Procedures.
- A strong understanding of risk management principles, including control design, implementation, and assessment.
- Effective time management and proven ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
- Highly developed collaboration skills with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver business-as-usual monitoring outcomes.
- A demonstrated ability to successfully manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
