About the Role
The Technical Training Delivery Supervisor will lead the common delivery methods and principles of Technical Training across Australia and New Zealand, supervising the delivery of Curriculum, New Model Training (NMT), and Performance Improvement delivery activities across both markets.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of Technical Training programs, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Supervise a team of trainers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality training delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver training programs that meet business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze training data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance training effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including dealers, technicians, and other business partners.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying knowledge to improve training programs and services.
- Ensure that training programs are aligned with Ford's global Technical Training Operating Guide (TTOG).
- Develop and implement training plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Conduct regular training needs assessments to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and deliver training programs to support the development of technical skills and knowledge among Ford technicians.
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure that training programs are aligned with new vehicle launches and product updates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including dealers, technicians, and other business partners.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying knowledge to improve training programs and services.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Education and Training or a related field.
- Previous experience in a technical training role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to analyze data and develop strategies to improve training effectiveness.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and apply business principles to training programs.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying knowledge to improve training programs and services.
