Volunteer Opportunity: Making a Difference in the Lives of Older People

Serbian speaking volunteers are highly valued for their ability to connect with and support our residents at HammondCare.

This rewarding role involves spending quality time with an elderly person, providing companionship and helping to reduce feelings of loneliness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visit residents regularly, engaging in conversations and activities that bring joy and fulfillment
  • Listen attentively to residents' stories and experiences, showing genuine interest and empathy

We are seeking a Serbian-speaking volunteer who can commit to regular visits and provide ongoing support to an elderly person in care. Ideally, you will be able to speak Serbian fluently and have a strong desire to make a positive impact on someone's life.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Be 18 years or older
  • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare

To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we require all volunteers to undergo a National Volunteer Police Check. This check is arranged and paid for by HammondCare, and we appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
