At Adbri we are seeking a hands-on and safety-focused Maintenance Supervisor to lead mechanical electrical and contractor maintenance teams at our Dongara site.

The Role

This pivotal leadership role oversees maintenance across the Dongara Kiln mining areas and site facilities to ensure high equipment reliability compliance and operational efficiency.

You will plan and coordinate preventative maintenance shutdowns and emergency works while driving continuous improvement managing contractors and leading a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities
  • Lead maintenance activities across kiln mining and site facilities.
  • Supervise mechanical electrical and contractor teams.
  • Manage preventative and unplanned maintenance shutdowns and compliance.
  • Ensure safety standards regulatory requirements and performance targets are met.
  • Drive continuous improvement and team development.
  • Support planning project execution and contractor management.
Requirements
  • Mechanical trade background with at least 5 years experience in heavy industry or mining.
  • Proven leadership experience in a 24/7 manufacturing or processing environment.
  • Certificate IV in Leadership or equivalent.
  • Statutory Supervisor Certificate of Competency.
  • Knowledge of risk management regulatory compliance and asset maintenance strategies.
  • Strong SAP and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to manage contractors budgets and planning systems effectively.
  • Excellent communication decision-making and team development skills.
