About The Role

This position supports students undertaking studies in Architecture, Urban Design, or related disciplines by offering hands-on experience in planning processes, architectural and heritage assessment.

You will work closely with the City Architect and members of the Heritage and Urban Design Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students undertaking studies in Architecture, Urban Design, or related disciplines
  • Offering hands-on experience in planning processes, architectural and heritage assessment
  • Working closely with the City Architect and members of the Heritage and Urban Design Team

Requirements:

  • Current and ongoing enrolment in and substantial progress toward a tertiary qualification in Architecture, Urban Design or a closely related discipline
  • Interest in urban design, built form planning, and sustainable development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to conduct research and assist in analysis of design-related issues
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
