About The Role
This position supports students undertaking studies in Architecture, Urban Design, or related disciplines by offering hands-on experience in planning processes, architectural and heritage assessment.
You will work closely with the City Architect and members of the Heritage and Urban Design Team.
Please read the Position Description to familiarise yourself with all the requirements and conditions of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students undertaking studies in Architecture, Urban Design, or related disciplines
- Offering hands-on experience in planning processes, architectural and heritage assessment
- Working closely with the City Architect and members of the Heritage and Urban Design Team
Requirements:
- Current and ongoing enrolment in and substantial progress toward a tertiary qualification in Architecture, Urban Design or a closely related discipline
- Interest in urban design, built form planning, and sustainable development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to conduct research and assist in analysis of design-related issues
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
