About Our Radiology Nursing Role

As a skilled and compassionate nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional patient care on a full-time, part-time or casual basis.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to prepare patients for CT, MRI and Ultrasound examinations, including IV cannulation. You will also assist in interventional procedures such as biopsies, drainages and angiography, while maintaining accurate documentation and handling specimen collection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients before, during and after imaging procedures.
  • Procedure Preparation: Prepare patients for CT, MRI and Ultrasound examinations including IV cannulation.
  • Interventional Procedures: Assist in procedures such as biopsies, drainages and angiography.
  • Recovery Support: Monitor and support patients during recovery post-procedure.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation and handle specimen collection.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Radiologists and Imaging Technicians.
  • Safety: Promote a safe working environment by adhering to WHS policies and procedures.
