On-Site Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Health and Safety Professional to provide on-site support and ensure compliance with health and safety standards across active traffic and construction zones.
This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe working environment for all staff. As a Health and Safety Professional, you will be responsible for providing immediate assistance to injured or ill workers on-site, ensuring first aid equipment is stocked and compliant, and maintaining clear records of incidents and treatment provided.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate first aid assistance to injured or ill workers on-site
- Ensure first aid equipment is stocked and compliant
- Maintain clear records of incidents and treatment provided
- Optional Duties:
- Assist with general labour or traffic duties as required
- Communicate clearly with team leads and emergency services when needed
Requirements:
- Valid First Aid + CPR Certificate III
- Construction White Card (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of health and safety in high-risk environments
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies
- Prior Experience:
- Previous experience in a construction, civil, or traffic management setting highly regarded
