We're seeking an experienced Payroll Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Virgin Australia Airlines. As a key member of our payroll operations, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our payroll services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and compliance of our payroll operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with other business functions, including HR and finance.
- Manage multiple payroll systems, including data integration and system maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legislation, including income tax, payroll tax, and superannuation.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- At least 10 years of experience in payroll, with a strong background in managing complex payroll systems.
- Advanced knowledge of multiple payroll systems and potential implementations.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex payroll issues.
