About the Role
The Family Partnership Worker supports the Congress Australian Nurse Family Partnership Program visiting team by providing education, promotional activities, and cultural guidance.
Supports clients to achieve their goals and ensures that home visits are culturally sensitive.
The program is relationship-based and strengths-focused with an opportunity to develop warm, consistent, and caring therapeutic relationships with women.
To be considered for this position, you will require:
- Identifies as an Aboriginal person; recognised and accepted as an Aboriginal person by the Aboriginal community
- Excellent communication skills including fluency in one or more local Aboriginal languages, and the ability to communicate sensitively in a cross-cultural environment
- Qualifications in a relevant field or the willingness to obtain; or a minimum of 1 year experience in a relevant field
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build relationship networks and establish trust with the community
- Current Driver's License
