Warehouse Professional

A world-renowned company for innovation and rethinking conventional processing and packaging lines is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Professional to join its Melbourne team.

This key role plays a critical part in ensuring stock control levels within the warehouse, efficiently packing products for transportation, and safely loading and unloading goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate machinery and equipment within manufacturer's instructions and company procedures.
  • Maintain safe access to storage areas, including visible safety signage and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Participate in the annual Stocktake.
  • Ensure equipment is sufficiently packed and ready for shipment by pick-up time.
  • Arrange transport for collection and drop off of goods.
  • Pick, unpack, and prepare parts/equipment for assembly as required.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized storage area at all times, utilizing available space efficiently.
  • Control the booking in and out of all stock and be aware of its whereabouts at all times.
  • Assist with the movement and lifting of machinery for customer demonstrations, trials, or other requirements.
  • Support the rest of the team with their requirements for assistance in any of the above areas.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Forklift License is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within a warehouse/store's environment.
  • Experience in packaging and shipping (freighting) and proven ability to organize and maintain stock.
  • Exposure to the manufacturing industry (specifically food and packaging) is beneficial.
