Design Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Design Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate pre-construction documentation for architectural, interior, structural, and services packages.
  • Lodge permits, approvals, and applications in a timely manner.
  • Manage site readiness including demolition, service connections, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate pool and landscaping approvals, design integration, and compliance.
  • Liaise with consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure project progression.
  • Track progress through project management software and maintain accurate reporting.
  • Ensure all documentation meets compliance and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Building Design, Architecture, or Construction Management.
  • 3-5 years' experience in design coordination or documentation management, ideally within luxury residential projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation, regulatory approvals, and authority processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD/Revit, and project management platforms.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to deliver results under pressure.
