Key Responsibilities- Coordinate hot shot requests from emails or phone, and ensure freight reaches required location on time as requested.
- Provide customers and/or internal staff with updates on freight location as required.
- Liaise with in-house dispatch/scheduling and/or subcontractor providers.
- Escalate any issues that may impact deliveries as soon as practical.
- Ensure all Hot Shot orders have been processed correctly in JAS, and any other application to ensure customers are being charged timely and accurately.
- Follow up on Invoices from Subcontractors to ensure jobs have been costed accordingly.
- Ensure Proof of Delivery (POD's) are maintained for all deliveries.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
