Key Accountabilities

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop intuitive, user-centred solutions that meet the evolving needs of our stakeholders.
  • Design and validate innovative products, working closely with stakeholders to balance business, technical, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of our organisational strategy, ensuring alignment with our goals and objectives.
  • Lead the design of products that deliver on quality benchmarks and are regularly released to market.
  • Mentor and manage a small team of UX designers, fostering their growth and enabling them to excel in their roles.
  • Inspire your colleagues to adopt human-centred design principles, driving innovation and excellence within our organisation.
  • Present compelling stories and strategies to various stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and buy-in.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and interaction patterns to ensure consistency across our digital platforms.
  • Plan and participate in user research activities to gain insights into user behaviours, preferences, and pain points.
  • Facilitate workshops for alignment, ideation, and iteration – remotely or in-person – to drive collective understanding and ownership.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at peer or senior levels, consulting and negotiating to achieve shared objectives.
  • Present design decisions for review and buy-in, providing justifications and incorporating feedback from stakeholders both within and outside our digital team.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a lead product designer, driving the development of user-centric solutions.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
  • Able to think strategically, balancing business, technical, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in mentoring and managing UX designers, with a track record of fostering growth and excellence.
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling manner, facilitating collaboration and buy-in.
