Energy Experience Lead

As an Energy Experience Lead, you will be responsible for designing and delivering exceptional user experiences tailored to the needs of our clients and their customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and develop solutions that meet those objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end user experiences that drive customer engagement and retention
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' businesses and markets
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align on design direction and requirements
  • Conduct research to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Communicate design concepts and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Elevate our Design System by actively using existing components and contributing new ones to increase consistency and efficiency
  • Apply a range of service design methods – including journey maps, design sprints, and co-creation workshops – to tackle complex organisational challenges

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering user-centered design solutions
  • Highly collaborative, able to lead workshops and design sprints to drive alignment and innovation across local and global teams
  • Adaptable to the evolving needs of a fast-moving global business
  • Proficient in using both qualitative and quantitative data to inform and defend your design decisions
  • Committed to improving design processes and standards, always looking for ways to increase efficiency and consistency, including using AI powered tools
  • A mentor and coach for junior designers and cross-functional partners, sharing your expertise in UX methods and best practices
  • A champion of user-centered design and the company's UX vision
  • Able to proactively identify design opportunities and research needs within a product area and prioritize work for maximum impact
  • Knowledge of, or a curiosity to learn, the nuances of the energy market
