Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced customs clearance professional to manage the end-to-end process for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lodge import and export declarations in accordance with customs regulations.
  • Classify goods and calculate duties, tariffs, and GST accurately.
  • Collaborate with clients, government agencies, airlines, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
  • Advise clients on customs, quarantine, and trade compliance matters.
  • Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure timely cargo clearance.
  • Manage documentation for duty refunds, permits, and special clearances.

Requirements:

  • Current Australian Licensed Customs Broker & Biosecurity Accredited Knowledge.
  • Experience using CargoWise or similar software platforms.
  • High degree of numeracy, literacy, and analytical skills.
  • Commercial focus and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Adaptable, ethical, and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
