St Vincent's Health Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Psychologist to join our team. As a Senior Psychologist, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of the psychology workforce across St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne (SVHM), as well as operational management of those who report to you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership of the psychology workforce, including planning, development, recruitment, and allocation of services
- Oversight of high-quality education at SVHM
- Clinical governance, including clinical accountability, credentialing, and scope of practice
- Clinical supervision of skills and competencies of all Psychology staff at SVHM
- Development of clinical policies, plans, and programs to enhance the service's capability
- Collaboration with clinical and operational program managers to support the psychology roles within interdisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification (Masters or Doctoral level qualification) in Psychology
- Registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA, with specialist endorsement in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology
- AHPRA Primary and Secondary Supervisor endorsement for post-graduate psychology students and psychology registrars
- Endorsement for the Psychology Board of Australia in a relevant Area of Practice
- Extensive experience as a psychologist at a senior level in public health services and/or in Mental Health & Wellbeing
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
- Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
