We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at West Recruitment Pty Ltd. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for providing remote and onsite support to customers, overseeing and assisting in managing infrastructure & Cloud environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesSome of the key tasks of this role include:
- Daily management of the IT Service Desk, including client interaction and resource coordination
- Involvement in systems implementations/upgrades and hardware roll-out projects
- Installing, maintaining, and supporting Windows Servers & operating systems
- Front line support & administration of the Windows Desktop, Windows Server, Office 365
- Strong skills in supporting major cloud platforms & physical servers
- Configuration of firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Providing a high level of customer service and attention to ensure SLAs are met
To be successful in this role, you will come from a technical support background and have a passion for IT and working with new technologies. You will take pride in finding solutions to complex issues for your customers and thrive in a fast-paced and fun team environment.
Some of the key requirements for this role include:
- Relevant IT qualification / Degree or comparable certification
- Product certifications (Microsoft / VMware / Cisco, etc.)
- Prior experience performing the above-listed tasks
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and clients
