We are a globally distributed Design team of over 30 Product Designers, but the core of the team (more than 20 Designers) is in Sydney's Inner West. We look after our flagship product CargoWise.

Job Overview

We're looking for an additional Senior UX Designer to take on an embedded position in one of our product domains. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-centered solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tackle a vast spectrum of challenges of moderate to high complexity by carrying a project through the entire double diamond of design thinking.
  • Integrate yourself into existing workflows of your team, educate your cross-functional peers on the value of modern Product Design, and gain their trust through great collaboration skills and the high quality of work outcomes.
  • Pursue outcomes pragmatically, rather than sticking to processes too rigidly, making decisions even if there's a high level of uncertainty.
  • Embrace the domain you're embedded in, logistics in all its facets is deeply complex, but also extremely interesting, and your value as a Designer grows as you learn more about the specific challenges of your area.
Requirements
  • Able to tackle projects with moderate to high complexity, having built up a toolset of reliable methods and techniques to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to integrate yourself into existing workflows and educate your cross-functional peers on the value of modern Product Design.
  • Pragmatic approach to problem-solving, willing to make decisions with a high level of uncertainty.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly, embracing the complexities of the logistics domain and growing in value as a Designer.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.

This role is strictly Sydney only, requiring regular attendance at our Head Office in Alexandria, Sydney.
