This position is responsible for overseeing the security of large critical installations, specifically data centres. The successful candidate will have experience managing security and be able to set strategy, manage projects, and drive improvements in security practices and operations.
The role involves providing comprehensive program security guidance concerning personnel, physical, operational, technical, industrial, counterintelligence, and media management. This includes creating, implementing, communicating, and managing security requirements at a large site, while providing day-to-day multi-discipline program security operations support.
Key responsibilities include drafting and reviewing security documentation, such as transportation plans, procedures, and CONOPs, and proactively identifying program and physical security requirements, problems, and solutions to sustain and enhance security.
Additionally, you will be responsible for performing and/or supporting the operations and maintenance of security hardware and systems employed onsite to meet government and AWS requirements, developing relationships with internal and external partners to heighten security awareness and engagement, and directing and managing onsite security forces to run daily security operations.
As a leader in private cloud security, you will engage with senior leadership across AWS and customers, including writing and presenting documents on ideas, operational procedures, and results.
