About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to lead our assessing team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting virtual assessments of insured properties to determine damage locally and on a national scale where required
  • Creatingscopes of works and quotes on covered damage with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Identifying the difference between insurance-related damage and maintenance
  • Completing desktop assessments and reviewing specialist reports when workload is high
  • Processing reports and information through software-based platforms
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Providing expert advice on construction requirements and contractual obligations
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality results
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Building Assessor or Insurance Estimator
  • Demonstrated expertise in building assessment and analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Trade or Building qualification, preferred
