Our team is looking for a skilled Project Leadership Specialist to join our ranks. This role will see you take on the challenge of leading and overseeing multiple projects from development through to submission.

About the Role

This is a customer-facing position which supports a key customer capability primarily based at the customer site in Melbourne CBD.

  • Develop detailed project proposals, plans, and manage resources and schedules.
  • Ensure that deliverables meet contractual and stakeholder requirements.

You will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.

A key part of this role will be engaging with customers to gather and clarify project requirements.

You will also collaborate with technical teams to scope, cost, and deliver proposals.

We are looking for someone who can communicate project status, risks, and improvements to stakeholders while driving continuous process enhancement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in project management, ideally in government, defence, aerospace, or IT sectors.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar.

You will also need proven ability to manage multiple technical projects in hybrid Waterfall/Agile environments.

Excellent communication skills are essential for reporting, proposal development, and stakeholder engagement.
