Job Title

As a key member of the senior management team, the Department Head plays a vital role in driving business success through effective leadership and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Value-Added Department with a focus on optimizing production processes and maintaining high standards in quality, process flows, maintenance, volumes, and food hygiene.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure effective labor management, including ensuring all positions are filled and handling disciplinary matters appropriately.
  • Collaborate with senior management to achieve business objectives and maintain open communication channels.
  • Implement and maintain key principles, including Health & Safety for the department.
Requirements
  • Matric or equivalent qualification.
  • PME/PMI qualification.
  • Proven supervisory experience in large-scale food production and processing plants.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Computer literacy required.
  • Bilingual (English and second official language).
  • Hardworking, honest, and self-motivated individual able to manage staff professionally under pressure.
